Two women doing goat yoga outdoors. One is on a yoga mat in a table pose with a goat standing on her back, while the other woman holds the goat. Trees and a barn are in the background.

History of Kids of Thrill Hill

My name is Susan Cowart. Aside from being a registered nurse with 35 years of experience in clinical care and health education, largely caring for immunocompromised children, my joy is working with farm animals. I started my goat education almost 20 years ago, but found most information available was more for meat goats. After moving to central Texas, we bought our first dairy goats and have been “thrilled” with them since.

Our farm is called Kids of Thrill Hill because we love our goats and are located on Thrill Hill off of historic Park Road 4 in Burnet County, Texas- down the road from Ink’s Lake. We raise Mini Nubian
goats in lines carefully supported by goats from Texas area Mini-Nubian farms, all members of the Mini Milkers Association.

If you are interested in finding a happy, healthy, productive milk goat, I would thrilled to introduce you to the kids on my farm!
